Labelle 3rd in Canada

Dr. Brass School is extremely proud of Colton Labelle and his 3rd place finish at the 2011 Canadian National Archery in the School Program.

Labelle competed in the virtual tournament on June 17, 2011 and scored a 274 out of 300. He was competing in the Middle School division featuring Grade 7 & 8 male archers all over Canada. His score of 274 also ranked him 6th overall against male archers in Grade 4 to Grade 12.

The archery program at Dr. Brass school is in its inaugural year. “We are extremely proud to have a role model like Colton LaBelle to lead our archery team on the National, Provincial and Local level”, indicates Archery coach Jason Gordon.

Gordon highlighted that the Dr. Brass Archery program is supported by the Saskatchewan Lot-teries Community Grant Program for sport, culture, and recreation and the continual support of the Good Spirit School Division. The Dr. Brass School Archery Program also co-hosted the NASP Provinicial Championship in Yorkton in May, 2011 with YRHS.
