The Board of Education recently moved a motion to retain the name 'Weyburn Comprehensive School' for the new facility and the motion was accepted. A naming committee had been devised to provide recommendations. The call to retain the WCS name was supported by the Weyburn Comprehensive School Community Council and the Weyburn Junior High School Community Council.
