Beavers offering baseball camps

The Weyburn Beavers Baseball Club is gearing up for another summer of baseball camps and would like to extend an invitation to all players who fall between the ages of seven to 11.

Players who would like to sign up for this educational and practical baseball camp may do so for one, two or all three days. These camps will give local players the rare opportunity to learn how parts of the game are taught all around North America and the world as some of the Beaver players and coaches have international baseball experience. There are players and coaches on the squad this year who have reached the highest level of college baseball you can achieve and it's a very unique opportunity for young people wanting to play high level baseball to learn what it takes to get there.

The Beavers will be hosting two weeks of camps. The first week dates are July 9, July 11 and July 12. The second week of camp will fall on July 16, July 18 and Thursday, July 19. All camp times will run between 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. every day.

The investment to be a part of this unique experience for any young player is $25 per day or $60 for all three days. To sign up you can call team president Garnet Hansen at 861-0560 or fill out a form at www.weyburnbeavers.com.
