An advertising campaign aimed at reminding motorists to slow to 60 km/hr when passing workers and equipment in Orange Zones during the busy highway construction season was recently launched by the Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure.
“Whether it’s hauling important resources by truck or taking a family trip to one of our many lakes, a safe and efficient highway network is vital to the movement of goods and people in Saskatchewan,” Highways and Infrastructure Minister Don McMorris says.
“Our crews and contractors are working to ensure highways are in a condition that can accommodate additional traffic in our growing province. The safety of these men and women is very important to all of us.”
