Ladies 12th annual tournament attracts over 90 golfers

The Weyburn Ladies Golf Club held their 12th annual golf tournament on July 28 and 29 at the Weyburn Golf Course with 91 golfers participating.

Championship Flight winners: Judy Giblett-165; Marcy Johnston-166; Cheryl Rommann-167; Denise Hersikorn-168; Lorie Boyle-169.

First Flight winners: Shelley Bigeagle-181; Anita Ford-182; Carolyn Kryba-183; Sandra Zimmerman-183; Diana Kerr-186.

Second Flight winners: Chelsea Ziolkowski-188; Elaine Brock-188; Karen Cumbers-191; Shirley Hermanson-193; Denise Klotz-194.

Third Flight winners: Blanche McRae-196; Brenda Murray-197; Leslie Walliser-200; Janet Miller-205; Gloria Scaddan-206.

July 29 winners were: Longest drive 0 -11 handicap - Marcy Johnston, Regina; 22 & over - Lorraine Konechny, Regina; longest - Sandra Zimmerman, Regina; closest to pin - Carol Spanks, Saskatoon; closest to pin with second shot - Denise Hersikorn, Regina.

In the putting contest, the winners were: first - Keely Reibling, Regina; second - Abra Thompson, Saskatoon and third - Heather Menzies, Regina.
