Parkland College awarded $85,800 in internal scholarships to 71 students from across East Central Saskatchewan at its awards ceremony at the Painted Hand Casino in Yorkton on March 26.
These scholarships are in addition to the $53,740 in entrance scholarships awarded in September. The grand total of $139,540 awarded in the 2013-14 academic year is a record for Parkland College. It has now awarded more than $100,000 in scholarships in three consecutive academic years.
