Yorkton Film Festival appoints new board

The Yorkton Film Festival has wrapped up another successful annual general meeting with the welcoming of four new board members. New to the board are Dan Badowich and Geraldine Hippsley of Yorkton, Katrina Ham of Saskatoon and Dana Lesiuk of Regina.

The 2011 Festival will run from May 26-29, 2011. Submissions are currently being accepted. Visit the festival website for more information at:www.goldensheafawards.com. Early bird deadline for submissions ends December 15, 2010, with the call for submissions closing January 31, 2011.

The Yorkton Film Festival loans out free DVD tours containing award winning films. Nine tour themes range from Aboriginal to Youth Safety. Perfect for viewing at social functions, group meetings, or individual use.
